Yes, this is why I'm doing this.

My time spent in Hammond, Louisiana working with Samaritan's Purse was awesome. Being able to help people recover from hurricane damage by cutting up fallen trees, repairing the roof of their house by covering up holes made by trees or tree branches, or demoing drywall because of mold. Serving people less fortunate than me is one of the main reasons why I'm on this trip.

It's definitely been hard along the way though. Whether that's working at one house for more than two days because of so much mold that needs to be taken care of, getting a chain saw stuck in a tree, or getting spiritual attacks from the enemy, it wasn't easy these past two weeks. But you know what? None of that matters.

All of these hardships are worth it, all of these struggles are worth it, all of these difficulties are worth it, you know why? Because it's all for GOD. Everything we're doing is for him. Sometimes I need to slow down and remember this but it's true. Every house we visit, every hardship we experience, every person we minister to, it's all for the glory of GOD.

Yes, that's why I'm doing this.
